You can Port your Tale Wallet to some other Defi wallet provider like Metamask or Trust Wallet easily. All of the Defi wallets provide you with a mechanism to import your account with another wallet provider by simply importing the private key.

Following is a step-by-step guide on how to port your Tale Wallet account to your Metamask account but you can also do the same with any other defi wallet provider like Trust Wallet.

Once completed, all your funds along with other assets will go into the metamask account.

Step 1 - LogIn & Verify the Tokens

Log in to your Tale Wallet account with your email and OTP verification and go to the wallet's tab to check what assets you have in which chain.

Step 2 - Keep Proof

Keep proof of your tokens by storing a screenshot and wallet address of your Tale Wallet. You can find the wallet address at the top as shown on the screen below
 

Step 3 - Copy your private key

Choose to view the private key. Go to the accounts section by clicking on the top right icon on the web/app and select the Private Key option. Images below will help you with that. Copy the private key.

 

Click Private Key on Menu Screen	Enter Email	Enter OTP sent	View Your Private Key

Step 5 - 

You will now be able to view the Private Key of your wallet. Not that it is different for different machines.
Most of you will have funds in the BSC or Polygon chains. BSC, Polygon, and Ethereum are EVM chains. Copy the private key of EVM if your asset is in Ethereum, Polygon or BSC. You will later need to import this in another defi wallet

Step 6 - Create a Metamask Account

Create a meta mask account. There are many online documentation which will help you with that. You can follow the official guide over here. While creating the account choose the 'Import with private key option'

Step 7 - Import with Private Key

Enter the Private Key that you have copied from Tale Wallet and Import your private key on metamask.

Step 8 - 

Load the tokens on your chain on the metamask to view them. Lookup the token address for any chain from coinmarket cap site. You can also refer to https://bscscan.com/tokens to find the token address of a token on BSC chain

Only load the token where you had greater than zero balance to avoid confusion.
